What do users think about the Waterpik WP-660 Ultra dental hygiene irrigator?
5/5 ★★★★★
I have never been overly fond of flossing my teeth with conventional floss. It’s messy given I salivate a lot. This Waterpik WP-660 Aquarius is the first water flosser I have tried and I love it. I wish I had bought it years ago. It is so easy to use, and I think the concern about mess is way overstated. Just lean down over the sink and the water simply falls down with little to no splashing. Comments about the noise level are appropriate. I wouldn’t have thought about it making noise without reading the other reviews, but once I understood it was going to make a little noise I don’t find it bothersome. That said, I wouldn’t recommend using it while others are sleeping nearby. Overall, I am very satisfied with the unit, and actually use it 2 to 3 times a day. It is very useful to have a variable pressure setting. I have been using it for almost 2 months now but have only worked my way to level 4. I rated it low for portability and travel because this model is not very well suited for travel. It works very well sitting in a convenient spot near your sink.
5/5 ★★★★★
My first WaterPik developed a leak in the hose (after 5-8 years of daily use); the pump continued to run fine; but as its; replacement hose was nearly as costly as a new unit I trashed the old unit and ordered a new WaterPik.
However my second choice, a portable WaterPik unit – was much under powered – this was a grave mistake. Pressure was even much lower – as was the reservoir capacity.
I’m now working in my third unit. There has been enough time that I can’t fairly say how it compares to my original unit – but I will say after several weeks of using the newest version I’ m pleased with it.
What is the difference between Waterpik 100 and 660?
The Waterpik WP-100 and WP-660 are models of Waterpik water flossers with some differences. The WP-100 is more compact, has six pressure settings, and does not include pulse modulation technology. On the other hand, the WP-660 is larger, offers ten pressure settings, and features pulse modulation technology to improve gum health. Additionally, the accessories and price may vary between the two models. The choice depends on individual preferences and needs.
